Things to do - Chicago Children's Museum
No child . . . or parent . . . will want to miss Chicago Children's Museum, where a galaxy of creative and educational activities, programs and exhibits for children exists. This interactive and educational oasis is one of the most popular children's museums in the United States.
Permanent exhibits include:
Inventing Lab, Dinosaur Expedition, Under Construction, Kraft Artabounds Studio, Treehouse Trails, Water Ways, Play Maze, My Museum, Big Backyard, Play It Safe, Climbing Schooner, Kids on the Fly and Skyline-CCM's newest permanent exhibit.
Museum Hours
Sunday - Wednesday & Friday: 10am-5pm
Thursday - 10am-8pm (5-8pm Kraft Free Family Night)
Saturday - 10am-8pm
Kraft Free Family Night
Thursday evenings, 5-8pm - Free admission for everyone (Groups of 15 or more need to register by calling 312-464-7735.)
Target Free First Mondays
First Monday of every month - Free admission for ages 15 and under
CCM is open every holiday except Thanksgiving and Christmas days.
Admission: General: $9 adults and children over 1; Seniors $8; Free for members.
