Navy Pier is proud to celebrate the rich tapestry of Chicago’s diverse ethnic communities in this third annual cultural tribute. This event is free and open to the public. Over the course of eight weeks, enjoy authentic live music, dance performances and folk art from each featured community.

In Chicago, Taylor Street is popularly known as “Little Italy”. This celebration of Italy at Navy Pier features performances by Alessandra Belloni and Ensemble from New York and Vince Amore. Cuisine provided by Taste of Tuscany by Phil Stefani. Discover traditional gifts by the Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans.

The Chicago neighborhoods of Pilsen and Little Village will be featured as Navy Pier celebrates authentic Mexican music and dance. Featuring performances by Latino Arts Mariachi Juvenil, Mariachi Perla de Mexico, Cuerdas Clasicas, Ballet Folklorico Nacional de Victor Soria and more.

Celebrate Lithuanian Independence

Chicago, dubbed as “Little Lithuania”, has long been called the second capital of Lithuania, possessing the largest Lithuanian community outside the country. Join in this celebration to honor Lithuania’s independence with traditional folk music, dance and song. Featuring the U.S. premiere of Ugnele Folk Dance Ensemble from Vilnius, Lithuania with additional performances by Biru Bar Folk Music Ensemble, Gabija Folk Music Ensemble, Dainava Chorale, Svajone Children’s Choir and Grandis Folk Dance Ensemble. Traditional gifts by Lietuvele Souvenir Shop and traditional Lithuanian cuisine by the
restaurant Grand Duke‘s.
