Chicago, dubbed as “Little Lithuania”, has long been called the second capital of Lithuania, possessing the largest Lithuanian community outside the country. Join in this celebration to honor Lithuania’s independence with traditional folk music, dance and song with performances by Biru Bar Folk Music Ensemble, Suktinis, Svajoné Children’s Choir, Grandis Folk Dance Ensemble, Rusne, Viltis and more! Art from Lapšys Artistry in Glass and Jewelry by Otilija will also be on display, shop souvenirs from Lietuvélé and Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture and experience authentic cuisine by Grand Duke’s Restaurant. Presented in partnership with the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania.
