On Saturday, September 25th, costumed canines joined Navy Pier's resident pup, Patch, for festive Fall pooch fashion at Patch's 2nd Annual Pooch Parade and Costume contest. One lucky dog was chosen this year's doggy costume contest Grand Prize Winner by US99 radio personality Lisa Dent and two other judges. The Grand Prize Winner, "Echo", the Scuba Dog, was named the 2009 Seadog Cruise Honorary Mascot along with other great prizes! Second prize went to "XX" as Wonder Woman, Third place to "Rui" as Jack Sparrow and an Honorable Mention to "Molly" as Dino and "Hank" as DinalCat (the Flintstone Family). Then Patch, Ronald McDonald® and the Grand Prize Winner lead all costumed canines in the Pooch Parade down Dock Street to Festival Hall where the Adopt-A-Pet "Howl-o-ween" event took place.
