Endless Summer at Navy Pier

It was many years ago, back before anyone can remember, that Liderc Tenebrae founded his Carnival of Curiosities. He had always had a love for the mysterious, for things magical, risky or odd, a genuine affection for that which most would call freakish. As darkness would gather at the end of each day, Mr. Tenebrae's day would begin. He delighted in the thrill of darkness. And so on the New Moon, when the sky was completely, utterly black, he began his life-long journey around the globe, gathering his assembly of the strange.

This joyfully sinister man was naturally drawn to the graveyard. And so it was that in his travels, he began to set up shop upon the tombs of those who had gone before. In city after city, in town after town, Mr. Tenebrae's carnival flourished among the ethos of the dead. And it was there, amidst crumbling headstones, inside musty abandoned crypts, that he often found new friends – living & dead – to welcome into the darkness of his Carnival of Curiosities.

And he welcomes one & all today, to Navy Pier in Chicago, inviting the Curious to explore his strangely exotic Carnival.
