Does Navy Pier have event space available for weddings?

Yes. Navy Pier has five unique spaces available for weddings.

Navy Pier's Historic Grand Ballroom, with its incredible 80-foot domed ceiling and unparalleled views, can accommodate up to 1,100 seats on the main floor and an additional 300 in the balcony area.

Lakeview Terrace is a larger, loft-type space with magnificent views. This room can seat up to 450 seats.

The Rooftop Tent is an ideal setting for an outdoor wedding from May through October. The tent has seating for up to 200 guests, and the Rooftop has space for an additional 700 guests.

Rooms 328 and 329 are ideal for smaller receptions (up to 120 seats) and have beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the city Skyline.

How far in advance does Navy Pier book weddings?

Navy Pier books weddings 9 months prior to the event’s date. The booking window may be extended to 12 months if the event falls on a holiday weekend.

What are rental fees and food and beverage minimums for Navy Pier's wedding spaces?

Grand Ballroom
Sunday through Thursday:
$5,000 rental fee with a $20,000 food and beverage minimum (exclusive of tax and gratuity)
Friday and Saturday:
$5,000 rental fee with a $25,000 food and beverage minimum (exclusive of tax and gratuity)

Lakeview Terrace
$4,000 rental fee or a $15,000 food and beverage minimum (exclusive of tax and gratuity)

Rooftop Tent
$4,000 rental fee or a $15,000 food and beverage minimum (exclusive of tax and gratuity)

Rooms 328 and 329
$1,500 rental fee or $5,000 food and beverage minimum (exclusive of tax and gratuity)
